About Horton Vineyards

Horton Vineyards is one of Virginia's most celebrated wineries, known for producing bold, distinctive wines and delivering an exceptional guest experience. We're looking for friendly, passionate people to join our Tasting Room team and help share our story, one glass at a time.

What You'll Do

Welcome and assist guests in the tasting room, guiding them through wine flights, tastings, and selections

Share knowledge about Horton Vineyards' wines, winemaking process, and the history of the vineyard

Process sales transactions, including wine purchases, club memberships, and merchandise

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment

Assist with stocking, restocking, and inventory as needed

Support private events, wine club events, and special tastings

Represent Horton Vineyards with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm

Required Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older

Strong customer service or hospitality experience

Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine)

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a winery, brewery, restaurant, or retail setting

Knowledge of or genuine interest in wine

Point-of-sale (POS) system experience
